This is one of the songs on our new EP – available tomorrow! Woot woot! It’s a little hard for me to share this because it’s super raw…aka not perfect…aka I’m super flat in a few spots but this is part of me letting go, folks. I hope you enjoy!
Tonight, we headed over to Walgreen’s to pick out some of our favorite candy…not for ourselves but for a random redbox movie renter!
This is me, working like mad to fill the bucket before somebody spied on us. Check out the look on Grady’s face…he totally spots a lady walking up & knows he’s gonna have to talk to her!;)
She was so sweet & said she just couldn’t accept it. She said she was too blessed to take it & wanted us to give it to somebody else. It was a little awkward but a few minutes later, up walked the 2 guys pictured below (I totally felt like a stalker snapping this picture, btw) & the dude in dreads was just tickled pink with his little snowman bucket! It was way cute! We usually just leave the basket for someone to find but folks were out in droves tonight for a good flick!
It never ceases to amaze me how surprised people are at such a small act of kindness. I want to change that! I want to make people feel loved and noticed everywhere I go. I want to slow down and see them. I want to make someone’s day. That’s part of why I do this…to teach my kids AND to remind myself that the world is so much bigger than us. Each person was created by Jesus & we need to love them like He does…not just at Christmas but all year long!
