Kindness Advent - Day 19

Kindness Advent – Day 19

My kiddos spent the morning coloring & cutting out this sweet little nativity from Made By Joel. Here’s the link, in case you think your little ones might enjoy it too! He has lots of other amazing free printables & if your kids are as craft-crazy as mine, you’re always looking for something new!

Today, our kindness mission was to bless a single Mom. This will forever be apart of our tradition because I was raised by a pretty amazing single Mama! I don’t know how she did it all but I am grateful…so grateful!

We met Heather a few months ago when we opened our shop at the Amberleaf Marketplace. She has a bakery in the back called the Ugly Pie & let me just tell you…this woman can cook! I don’t even like pimento cheese, or I didn’t know I did until I had Heather’s hot pimento with bacon! Oh. my. word…it’s comfort food at its finest!! We also buy our bread from her every week & my kids usually have it eaten within the first two days!

I was planning on just giving Heather a gift card to help out with Christmas but then one day in conversation, she mentioned that her son would love one of the license plate guitars we make. I immediately called Aubrey & said “I’ve got it!”

My nieces got out of school early today, so they came along for our adventure & of course some yummy food!

Heather, you rock & we hope we made your Christmas list just a little bit shorter this year. Keep up the good work, Mama!!
